Lost fic
Wichie is searching for this one, I know I have read it but I can't remember the name or the author and my eyes are gritty from going over all the fests etc. where I think it was originally posted. Does anyone know it at all?

"Have been hunting for days months, and am giving up the ghost before as this robs me of more sleep: do any of you good people know of a Snarry, muggle!AU, where Harry needs counseling to deal with his string of bad relationships, and Snape is his last hope? Harry has deep seated trust issues because as a child (8? 10?) he and another boy, who was his only friend, were molested by Vernon. Snape takes the unusual approach of "showing" Harry what a real relationship is like by taking Harry out on a "date", only Harry wishes it were real. I think Snape does begin seeing Harry for real in the end, and another memorable bit is that Harry says he has never had a normal sex drive and describes some of his fantasies as "deviant ... illegal", which Snape surmises means he fantasizes about young boys (trying to, essentially, do over his first sexual experience).

Please, let me know if this sounds vaguely familiar, even if you can only say you read something like it back in 2007, or anything at all. The eternal gratitude of an insomniac must count for something ..."

take care,
Annette
